25/365: Winter Garden

untitled.jpg

When we moved in I had grand plans of a year-round garden.

Um, maybe next year.

I was out looking at the raised beds today and this lonely little tomato branch was blowing across the sidewalk. It's time to clean out the garden and get ready for the spring. And start planning what to plant.

Along with researching preschools. Apparently some of the better ones are filled by March... for the following September. Ahh!

Great macro! Macro sure brings out things that would otherwise go unnoticed.

I love your macros too! I like the shadow on this one and the pits in the cement!

I'm just envious that you think about gardening, much less year-round! Gardening sounds like so much fun, but it is not me. Good luck with preschool "shopping". I will say a prayer for you!

In order to get in a good pre-school in our small town, you have to sign up a year or two in advance! Good luck with your hunt. I love your picture today and the story that goes with it...

Every year we have great intentions of gardening and then it just doesn't seem to happen. One year we actually put in a huge garden...realistically it was just a buffet for the deer despite having 4 strands of electric tape.
Maybe this year.....
Good luck pre-school shopping!

LOVE your work Megan... I just got my macro and can't wait to evolve using it over time.

Beautiful as always!

Our registration is next week for preschool. Fun. It is so stressful to decide 3 days, 4 days, 5 days. Makes me anxious.

Great shot! I am also great at dreaming of gardens. I am much better at belonging to a CSA than the growing it myself part, but I still try.

I have to pre-school shop when we move and I love the one she is in now so I am bummed... Good luck to you!

Another amazing, and beautiful shot, as always! I love your photos!!! I do have to admit, this one kind of reminded me of the piece of art that belonged to the "modern wife" who moved into the house in the movie "Beetlejuice"...Lol!

Poor little tomato branch! Once you get your garden in full swing promise to write me a tutorial all on how to do that. I too, have big dreams of growing my own food, someday. Yes, preschools fill up fast. We always enrolled in March?April as well. Good luck!
