11/365: Brussels Sprout Salad

untitled.jpg

Trader Joe is another one of my good friends. He, Eva the Roomba and I had a lunch date today. Joe provided the Brussels Sprout Salad and Eva cleaned up all of the crumbs left over from the cereal bar Grayden had for breakfast.

Mmm... brussels sprouts aren't just for Thanksgiving! Toasted hazelnuts, bacon, cranberries and a honey dijon vinagerette. I don't think I've skipped picking up one of these salads for the last several TJ's trips.

That looks seriously amazing! Until last month, I HATED brussel sprouts! Then I watched a french cooking show that made me want to give them another try...I thought all brussel sprouts tasted like the frozen, mushy variety.....but they don't! Who knew brussel sprouts could be so tasty? I'm a convert. :)

Okay brussel sprouts are about the one food I know I do not like and you've managed to somehow make them look (and sound) quite tasty! :)

Ok I have to figure out how to make that salad! How are the burssel sprouts cooked? Is this just something you put together at the salad bar or is it premade like this?
