105/365: Back in the Weeds

untitled.jpg

On our walk today Grayden got to get out of the stroller and take a turn posing in the weeds. The loud hum of buzzing bees (and yellow-jackets, I saw them... yikes!) made me wonder- what kind of precautions do the pros take when they take a client out into a field or forest? I guess there are common sense things you can do to avoid insects and snakes... but I would still be super nervous! We snapped a couple shots and headed back out of the weeds :)

I did a little split toning on this image, playing with the colors in the highlights and shadows. Pretty fun :)

Megan, he looks like he is just balancing so well, and has been walking all of his life. Geez, they grow up fast.

Do you mean you and me share the same middle name? I kept my maiden and dropped "Michelle". That wasn't a hard decision, lol.

Can you tell how scatter brained I am these days? About two hours later after I commented, I thought, "Procrastinate should be my middle name!" Duh! I'm such a dork ;)

Your pictures are so incredibly sharp and rich. I'm off now to look up what split toning is? I've seen it on my LR Menu but have never played with it.

My kids are barefoot in half my pictures, so I often wonder if people think I'm a bad mom or they don't have enough shoes. What we won't do for a good picture!
