93/365: Field of Weeds

untitled.jpg

I love a good field full of weeds! I also thought I could have captioned this image "hey look- I can jump in a field too!" Hehe... asking Isaac to jump is my current best trick for getting him to stay in one spot and do something that is interesting to look at :) I really did love that I found this field on our walk this evening, My favorite road is fabulous and all, but it was nice to have a change of scenery.

And just for fun...

here is what you get when you ask your blue, very sensitive, eyed child to look up at you when it is sunny. I tried the "open your eyes when I count to 3" trick but I don't think we're quite at that point yet. He would open his eyes on 3, but look directly at the ground. Oh well.

Oh, that sounds so familiar!
The other trick is to screw up their faces till they look miserable. This shot is still adorable though.
the bokeh is great as are the colors in both pics.

Love the texture and color in that field!

Love your processing of these and the field and sky look wonderful - makes me want to go run in it! Your son's lashes are wonderful - see it's a good think he squinted so you could capture those gorgeous lashes. :)

What a beautiful sky! And great composition too. My oldest is sensitive like that....we had an interesting time trying to get pics of him the other day given the *time* of day we tried to take them. :)

I love the feeling this shot captured. It is so boy and makes me happy just looking at it. And I have to tell you, your comment regarding setting and increasing my SS was very helpful for me, and when I saw the first picture I could almost guess what your camera was set at and why it came out so sharp. Thank you!

How have you not found this fabulous field of weeds before? Can't wait to see what else you crank out of it! And Ben is super light sensitive too. So annoying sometimes ;) haha

These are cute! My daughter doesn't go for the "open on 3" trick either. I think her blue eyes are just too sensitive. She tells me the sun is hurting her eyes when her back is to it!
