I bet he'll be able to palm a basketball too! I have those fingers. I hated them as a kid, but appreciate them now. I can reach a full octave plus two keys further. Keep encouraging him in music...he'll be grateful someday!

I get told the same thing a lot too and I am a piano player. Hopefully he will use those fingers and be a great pianist some day. :)
I was doomed from the beginning with my short stubby fingers! Is he learning to play?
